Sophia DeNezza
Sophia’s passion for design began at a young age, shaped by her coastal New Jersey roots and a childhood spent moving around the country with her large, close-knit family. Constantly exposed to new places, homes, and ways of living, she developed an early appreciation for how thoughtfully designed spaces can influence mood, memory, and connection. This curiosity naturally evolved into a creative drive, and Sophia began building her design business early in her career—guided by an instinct for style, storytelling, and spaces that feel both intentional and inviting.
She earned her BFA in Interior Architecture from The George Washington University, where she received multiple design awards and recognition for her creative excellence, including second place nationally in the prestigious Steelcase NEXT Design Competition. Her professional background spans commercial workplace design and ultra-luxury residential interiors, giving her a unique ability to blend function, refinement, and personality. Today, Sophia specializes in fun yet elevated Airbnb and vacation rental design alongside thoughtfully curated residential spaces—creating interiors that feel boutique, memorable, and livable.
A deep love for FF&E design anchors her work, with careful attention to color, texture, and layered detail that transforms spaces into experiences. Travel remains one of her greatest sources of inspiration, influencing everything from material selection to layout and flow. Whether designing a vacation home meant to delight guests or a residence meant to feel deeply personal, Sophia believes every space should evoke emotion, comfort, and a sense of connection. When she’s not designing, she finds inspiration through travel, new experiences, and time spent at home with her beloved orange cat, Teddy.
